I’m writing this review to give my review of Cottage Sheetmetal,LLC & HVAC. I”ll begin with my initial call to the company. I spoke with Patrice and explained to her that I possibly needed some service to my existing system at home. She was very polite, listened well, and helped me set up an appointment. After looking at it, Frank explained a few things that I could do to try to even out the temperature in the addition of the house. I live in a split-level, and the 19-year-old existing system was only an 80% efficiency, single stage, Lennox. I called again to discuss a possible new system with someone, and Don, the owner of the business answered. Don was polite, up-front, honest, and very informative regarding my options. He sent me a quote directly via e-mail. The pricing was VERY fair. He also explained that I could upgrade to a 2-stage furnace, which would help balance out, and lessen the cooler spots that my wife was concerned about. (She’s from a tropical island, she’s ALWAYS cold, Lol). I later decided after discussing with my wife, that our system is pretty old, and it would be to our benefit to upgrade the system when we replaced it. She agreed. I contacted Don again the following day, and setup a date for the new installation. Don’s shop had the unit in stock, and he was very accommodating to setup a date that we could be available because both my wife & I work. The day of the install, came, and the crew of Shawn, Brain, Rudy, and 1 other showed up about 10 minutes early to prepare. The install crew was great. ALL were very polite, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and informative if I had any questions. The work was performed at a pretty good pace and also done very well. They were extremely neat, well organized, and when finished, you would have never even known that they had been there. I chose Cottage for a few reasons. 1st was their reputation; 2nd was they were the company that had installed the system and all ductwork in my parents’ home back in 1984, 3rd they’re a union shop. I can honestly say I would highly recommend Cottage to anyone that needs service, or in my case a new system installed. My wife and I are VERY happy with the service, and work provided.

We had Cottage Sheet Metal come out for a furnace repair, and we were absolutely blown away by their service! They quickly fixed the issue with just a couple of parts, and two years later, it’s still working perfectly. Another company we called told us we needed an entirely new unit and didn’t even attempt a repair. I’m so thankful we reached out to CSM—they saved us so much money and hassle. Highly recommend!

Our family highly recommends Cottage Sheet Metal. They originally put in our furnaces and air conditioners when we built our house. We have used this company for 19 years or cleaning and checks every 6 months as well as any repairs we needed. All of the people that we have dealt with from schedulers to workers have been top notch. Recently we made the decision based on the recommendation of Brian who has serviced our house for years to replace our 19 year old units. The price was very reasonable and we were told of multiple rebates that we would get when we changed the units out.
The work was done in a little over a day and we could not be happier. The new units are so quiet and efficient.
Brian and Sean were great and cleaned up after the job was done. I will definitely recommend them to anyone for their heating and air conditioning needs.

Shawn arrived at noon, as requested, looked at the furnace, diagnosed a bad blower, said he’d check for parts and fix either today or tomorrow. Shawn calls at 12:45. He has the parts and is back on his way. Shawn arrives at 1:00. He repairs furnace, changes filters in both furnaces and both humidifiers. Shawn leaves at 2:00. We’ve used Cottage for years and are always amazed at their great service and reasonable pricing. There is no one better than Cottage!

Thank You for your great service, your two installers worked like a team and got my new equipment installed, got both systems up and running in no time. They tested both A/C and heat and did a very neat install, and cleaned up spotless after themselves. The quiet motors were well worth the extra money. Thanks to Dave who came out the same day to see what I wanted. I was amazed because he was the one who installed the original systems in 1983. Thanks again

I was so amazed by how quickly and efficiently the technicians were in the replacement of my 20 year old furnace and A/C. I was expecting it to be an all day mess of a job and it was totally opposite; each technician came in, knew what to do and just did their job, no messing around, very neat and considerate in answering any dumb question I had. Everything working just how they had explained and I am so glad to not have to worry that something won’t work on days that are 100 or 30. Thank You Cottage Sheet Metal!
